Are there people who won't vote for Obama out of racism? Sure. But it is illogical and unjust to assume that racism is the only possible motive people have to oppose him. His political positions are wonderful for people on the Left, but not for moderates and conservatives. He is a first term senator, and some voters may want someone with more experience. There are reasons to vote for or against him that have nothing to do with race.

If Obama is elected, does that mean that nobody can criticize his policies, lest she or he be called a racist? I proudly reserve the right to praise or critique my elected officials, and won't be threatened into silence.
